I'd like to share two of my favorite ads. The first one is from Amnesty International. I think this ad is emotional and persuasive at the same time. It makes me feel that I truly have the power to go out and save a life. Every time that in a 15, 30 or 90 second spot, I see a story capable of moving my emotions, I feel grateful for advertising.
The second ad is an example of how to creatively showcase a product that may have only have rational benefits for the consumer. My kudos to the creative team!

Both are great pieces of advertising... I completely agree with you.
ReplyDeleteWhile at a U2 concert a couple of years ago, I remember Bono introducing 'One' and explaining the power 'each one of us has' when it comes to changing policy. He said, please take out your cell phones, and text to the 1.800 number to stop hunger. The 1st Ad takes me there... the power of one.
As for the second Ad... man, is that funny or what? I love this ad. I love that the creative team had the liberty to deliver the product's benefit by taking you to a completely different story.
