As a frequent traveler (by plane that is, and I specify because I don’t want to assume it’s the same in other modes of transportation) things on airlines couldn’t be more classist. Don’t get me wrong, I know that there has to be a certain procedure, but I feel that we’ve crossed the line. As I was waiting for my group, which happened to be number 2, please don’t get any ideas, G2 (and I don’t mean Gatorade) is really not good, it just means you are seating in the very back so they need you to go in first. As the AA personnel said through the speaker “Ladies and gentlemen, we are going to start boarding, so please listen to your group, thank you,” everyone stood up and got ready to board. The interesting thing was to see how everyone started forming a line as if we were cattle, intelligent and evolved cattle I might add, but cattle nonetheless.
